Take on the challenge.

Riding Mohican is one of our greatest joys. We love it, and we think you will too! If you've dreamed of riding a full lap on this epic trail, then you should join us. The Mohican Trail Jamboree is being hosted annually with the goal of taking riders around the loop in a non-competitive setting. Aid stations are provided near mile markers 8, 12, 15, and 19. Rider will be guided by locals that know the system well for various goal times and paces. We are hosting this for two reasons: 1) We LOVE Mohican! And, 2) We want to help you ride this amazing trail!

Ashland Bike Company is proud to call Mohican State Park our home trails. The park and surrounding forest is one of Ohio's true gems. It is also home to one of the best 24 mile singletrack loops around. Rated an "epic" by IMBA, the loop consists of roughly 3000 feet of vertical gain over the full lap. Tough climbs, fast downhills, rock gardens, east coast style roots and technical challenges are present mile after mile on this rowdy trail system. Many riders have put Mohican on their bucket list or use it as the ultimate test of their mountain bike fitness for the season.

Cost to participate in this supported challenge is free, but we are asking that you consider donating towards "Ashley Goes to Worlds Round 2."

Ashley Hendershot is the manager of our partner organization, the Ashland Bike Project and the organizer of Team WILD, the Ashland area youth mountain biking program. She is involved in trail projects around the area, serves on the board at Vultures Knob Mountain Bike Trail, and she coaches the Ashland area NICA team. She also happens to be a killer on an eMTB and is off this August chasing her dreams in France at the UCI World Championships. This event is sanctioned by USA Cycling but they do not provide any funding to actually get the athletes in Ashley's position to the Championships. Last year Ashley spent her own funds to go to the big dance, and we'd like to try and help her get there this year with a little less out-of-pocket costs. Ashley has organized this Jamboree and we'd love to give her back just a little bit of what she does for Ashland youth each summer.
